Highlights from the WCU-UNCG rubber match on Sunday afternoon 3-26-23. High potent offense in this game between the Catamounts and Spartans as UNCG rallied late to win 11-8 and move to 2-1 in conference play.
Highlights from Game 2 of the WCU-UNCG baseball game on Saturday 3-25-23 as both teams begin conference action in the SoCon at UNCG Baseball Stadium. Mitchell Smith tied the game with a solo blast when the Spartans were down to their final out. Then, he walks it off in the 12th on a hit by pitch. Sometimes after getting plunked with a baseball you just have to walk it off. Spartans won 5-4.

I’ve assembled my best play-by-play calls in July 2022 with the Danville Otterbots in the Appalachian League. June was a fun month but July was better. Feedback is appreciated.
Here are some of my best calls in the month of June doing play-by-play for the Danville Otterbots in the Appalachian League. Through 23 games, Danville is 13-10 and 2nd in the East Division.

Here are my highlights from the Felician Golden Falcons 2022 Baseball season. They had great power, stellar defense and solid pitching. It was a fun year calling this team for the second straight year.

In the final two games of the regular season, the Golden Falcons only trailed one game behind 1st place Post University in the CACC North. Felician earned the Sunday doubleheader sweep over the Dominican Chargers 5-4 and 11-6. Felician finished the regular season winning 5 of their last 6 games.

The two top teams in the CACC North squared off on the diamond at Overpeck County Park in New Jersey on April 21,2022. The Golden Falcons triumphed over the visiting Post Eagles in a 7-6 thriller in extra innings.

Felician baseball highlights vs Nyack on 4-5-22. Golden Falcons slapped 16 hits on the day in an 18-6 win over the Warriors. Dauri Genao recorded a solo shot on the second pitch of the game. Andrew Florides and Chris Fernandez both had 3 hits. Fernandez was just a homer shy of the cycle. They were 2 of 6 different Golden Falcons to drive in a run. FR pitcher Logan Waltz struck out a career-high 9 batters and earned his 3rd win of the year.

Felician Baseball highlights vs the Queens College Knights from 3-23-22. The Golden Falcons won 7-0 in 9 innings in Overpeck County Park in Palisades Park, NJ. Freshman pitcher Dylan Morrill racked up 9 strikeouts in his first career start. The Knights struck out 15 times and recorded just 3 hits.

I PUT TOGETHER A 10-MINUTE VIDEO OF FELICIAN BASEBALL HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE ’21 SEASON. I LOVED THE PRIVILEGE OF CALLING THEIR REGULAR SEASON HOME GAMES ON THE CACC NETWORK IN NEW JERSEY. AT ONE POINT, THE GOLDEN FALCONS DID WIN 10 STRAIGHT.

FELICIAN BASEBALL HIGHLIGHTS VS ST THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE FROM GAME ONE OF SUNDAY’S DOUBLEHEADER ON MARCH 13, 2021. FELICIAN DROPPED THE FIRST TWO GAMES 12-6 AND 9-2.

RADIO CALL WITH TV FEED…. IT WAS THE 24TH OVERALL MEETING BETWEEN STONY BROOK AND IONA IN BASEBALL. THE SEAWOLVES STORMED BACK WITH A SIX-RUN FOURTH INNING THAT GAVE THEM A 9-4 WIN OVER THE GAELS.
